Kickin' It Old Skool Blog-a-thon day 1.

Day One: De-Selfie I started getting the Jamie Ridler Studios news letter a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. I was able to attend an creative coffee in October, but was unable to attend in November due to classes. Just lucky I had time to check my email and read this started today. Since I started my blog last year and didn't really start blogging on a regular bases till this month. Here a pic of me.

Play place stupidity.

Something I can't stand! When you go somewhere, where there is a play place...You know the place.  And someone just let there kids go. Ok if their over the age of 5 maybe 4. But today there was a baby, possibly 2. Who keep walking out of the play area with No parents.  I mean come on. Watch your kid! There no telling what kind of people who would take that chance and grab them.  I'm glad there wasn't just me watching, there was another mother who seen the same thing.  I walked the child back to his parents, and told them he got out again.  And it isn't just restaurant play place.  I seen the same thing at a park. Really if your a parent keep an eye on your kids.

complicated/crazy/drama

Why is life so complicated or crazy? Why is there some much drama in life? Why is there stupid people? These are question I hear sometimes, and the only answer I can give is...It's makes life interesting!! Thank about it if there was no complication, crazy, or drama. Life would be boring. Get up Eat the same thing (cause it's crazy to try new things) Go to work or school and talk about the same thing (cause drama it worth talking about, even if it's not yours) And some complication can be a fun thing, Challenges. Come home and No tv cause DRAMA makes the show. And then eat the same thing. Stupid people, talking about the people who should know better and don't. (if there wasn't any life would have humor.) So that's my opinion!!

Accidentally going to college

Accidentally going to college...That right. Accidentally!! The story is that me and my sister was talking about how she went back to school for a different degree. And I was telling her that I was thinking about how I couldn't choose between being a teacher or own a bar. She asked why a teacher, and here the points I told her. ~I'll be at work when the kids are in school. ~It would look better on me being a parent ~I really love teaching kids, but my kids. doesn't really seem good. So I decided to say the points of owning my own bar. ~I always dream of owning a place where people can get together and have fun. ~Music playing (possibly live!) ~I can be myself without have people want to get me fired for one thing or another. (I have tattoos and here in this region some parents have a problem with that.) So owning a bar is it for me. I really like that direction for me. BACK TO THE STORY. I just looked up business school online and I click on one and all I was going to do is get information on the school and the courses I would have to take.I just wanted to look and have info. Next thing I know I get a phone call and two days later I was enrolled. It was a head spin. Now I'm on my 6th week of classes and my head is still spinning with how fast it happen. But I'm glade I even looked. So that how I say I accidentally started going to college.

Rings!!!

I had finially got me a ring mandrel! 

Here I will show and explain how I made the up above ring. First I used my wedding ring to see what size my ring finger. 

It says I'm a 7. I used a small piece of wire, to help measure the finger i want the ring. I finger i measure is about a 10. So that what size I'm making my ring.

I chose black wire as my ring, but there is all type and sizes. I really don't know the size of this wire but I started out with 10 inches. I know I wasn't going to be using that much, but better to be to long then to short.

I decided that the ring design will be a wrap around.

So I wrap the wire around the mandrel twice, the mandrel is laying down and I bent the  wire up. I took off the ring and see if it fit.

It did so I figure it needed something. So I found some beads to help with the look. The glass 4mm, with a silver inside.

You might have to yours your wire cutter to cut the access off. Start by uses round nose pliers and make an open loop at the end.

Slid on the beads, and bend the wire onto it self so it enclose the bead.

 And there you go. It's not perfect, but who need perfect in this imperfect world.

This bored housewife is still

I'm still try to figure out this blog thing. So far so good, I think. Now I'm going to start editing the pictures better so they fit better in the layout. Hopefully I can get it.

I did start doing online college. So I went back!!! I'm so proud. I'm turning 31 this week and I'm in college. I in business school to learn how to run my own busy. Cause one day soon I will own my own bar. I'm on my 3 week of school and it still awesome!!
